    Each year a prom committee is established, which is made up of homeschool and virtual school students.  These students, while working under the guidance of volunteer adults, coordinate all aspects of prom.
    Under the guideance of the adult organizers of the Florida Homeschool Prom, the prom committee is responsible for deciding on the theme of the annual prom, the location of prom, menu selections, entertainment, decorations, fund raisers, promoting the prom in the community, and everything else required for a successful prom.

    Officers are elected from within the Prom Committee.  These  include a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and a Public Relations Coordinator.

    Members of the Prom Committee and the officers must be willing to attending regular meetings, decorating the location of the annual prom, coordinating all the events and dances hosted by the Florida Homeschool Prom throughout the year, fund raisers, and everything involved in organizing the annual Florida Homeschool Prom.

    Student members of the Prom Committee earn service hours, which can be included in their transcript when applying for college scholarships.
