    The following will allow all attendees and guests of the 2009 Florida Homeschool Prom to have a full understanding of what will be permitted and not allowed at this year's event.

    Please review this information carefully regarding the proper etiquette, behavior and accepted attire for prom.  Failure to adhere to this Code of Conduct and Dress Code may result in expulsion from the Prom. 

    Also, anyone purchasing a ticket to the 2009 Florida Homeschool Prom or accepting a ticket as a gift agrees to this Code of Conduct and Dress Code.

A. Code of Conduct

No Public Display of Affection:
    * No kissing.
    * No caressing.
    * No sitting on another person's lap.

Proper Dance Etiquette:
    * No "grinding" or "body against body".
    * No groping.
    * No "dirty dancing" or provocative dance moves.

No Leaving the Premises:
    * If someone needs something from their car, they must check out
    with a chaperone and may be escorted to and from their vehicle.

No "In and Out" or "Back and Forth" from the designated area of the prom:
    * At the discretion of the chaperones, you might not be allowed to return.

No Wandering Around the Diplomat Golf Resort & Spa:
    * No cruising the halls or facilities of the hotel.
    * No going out on to the golf course or its surrounding areas.
    * No hanging out at the pool or tennis court areas.
    * No loitering in any other areas identified by the chaperones.

Drugs, Alcohol and Cigarettes:
   
* The Florida Homeschool Prom has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY when
    it comes to this matter.  Anyone suspected of being under the influence of
    alcohol or any drug will immediately be removed the prom area, their
    parents will be contacted, and their money is not refunded.  We also want
    to thank everyone who has attended prom over the years for keeping this
    matter at a zero (0%) incident rate.  Also, cigarette smoking is not allowed
    and no one can bring any drinks of any kind, including water, soda, power
    drinks, etc., to prom.


B. Dress Code

    Please remember, the 2009 Florida Homeschool Prom is a Black Tie Event.  At the same time, the organizers of prom recognize everyone has their own individual tastes and "flavor" - that is what makes us homeschoolers.
 
Ladies:
    * Long gowns are encouraged, but not required.
    * Modest and becoming gowns are expected.
    * Short dresses and slits should not be higher than mid-thigh.
    * Spaghetti straps and strapless gowns are permitted.
    * No plunging necklines.
    * Undergarments must be worn and can not be visible.
    * No see through gowns.
 
Gentleman:
    * Tuxedo or Dress Suit
    * Neck ties, Bow Ties, or Bolas are recommended.
    *
Undergarments can not be visible.
    * Collared, button-up dress shirts are requested.  No T-Shirts.

Everyone:
    * Most Important; Christ-like behavior is expected!
    *
Please use your best discretion and common sense when selecting
       your attire for the 2009 Florida Homeschool Prom.
    * No moving chairs from one table to another.  This causes much
       problems with catering.
    * No writing on table clothes or any other materials or areas of the
       Diplomat Golf Resort & Spa.   

    * Any activities by attendees or guests that are deemed inappropriate
       or dangerous to others will be dealt with at the discretion of the
       chaperones.
    * All attendees and guests are required to agree to this
       Code of Conduct and Dress Code.
    * All attendees and guests must be respectful to all employees and
       representatives of the Diplomat Golf Resort & Spa.
    * Any damage to any property of the Diplomat Golf Resort & Spa
       may result in the attendee or guest who causes the damage to be
       financially responsible for its repair or replacement and possibly
       be removed from the prom.
