The
2009 Florida Homeschool is happy to announce it will once again host
the annual Florida Homeschool Prom King & Queen and Royal Court
Contest.
Participation in the Royal Court is optional.
Independent judges select a Homeschool Prom King and Queen based on a
written essay answering the question, "Why should I be the Homeschool
Prom Queen or King?" The judges want to know about each entrant's
homeschool experiences and they have serve their community.
The essay contest may be entered only by registered
attendees of the 2009 Florida Homeschool Prom, and there only be one
entry per person.
All essays must be a minimum of 250 words in length
and be written by the contestant. The entry must be original and
express the entrant's creativity. The deadline for submissions is
May 18, 2009, and all Winners will be announced at the 2009 Florida
HOmeschool Prom.
Graduating Seniors are encouraged to enter the
Florida Homeschool Prom King & Queen and Royal Court Contest, but
it is open to all attendees of the 2009 Florida Homeschool Prom.
* Grand Prize Winners: The Homeschool Prom King &
Queen
* First Place Winners: The Royal Court (one girl and
one boy)
Entry Fee:
Each completed entry must be accompanied
by a check made payable to "Florida
Homeschool Prom" in the amount of $5.00
and mailed to: Martha Kernohan, 1215 Lincoln Street, Hollywood, FL
33019.
